What I don't get ,if the drawing is as fair as they say,why does is matter how many tickets any one person buys or any amount of bulk buying

It's because of the stupid 2X multiplier and the baseline starting jackpot. Eliminate the 2X multiplier and increase the starting baseline jackpot to $150M and you will see the new MM pop. The players are a lot smarter than the LOTTERY SUITS give them credit for. They need to see what they are paying for .

I agree 100% with you. Thought it was promised bigger and faster jackpots. Well that is not true and Powerball still beats them hands down, IMHO in that regard

Out of state or international sales violates gaming regulations. Wagers for a state lottery have to be placed in that state.

* That's nothing- l was recently abroad gave $200 to a local friend l got acquainted with years ago. When he went to exchange that money at he's bank, they wanted My name address in the US to connect the funds to me. It's a total grind now

I think the main issue here would be verifying the source of funds.

Is it part of a money laundering scheme or not.

Are they proceeds from criminal activities or not.

That's why when one travels internationally any cash above 10K has to be declared.

The racetracks allow groups of people with computers having direct access to the wagering pools thereby reducing the payoffs substantially. Similarly these groups are trying to game the system by buying bulk purchases and squeezing out the regular folk

Ummmmm sounds pretty fishy to me. I guess they feel people figured out their sneaky strategy when we buy in bulk your chances goes up and eventually more people win lottery so they got to pay out more so they lose money. As far out of state purchase I don't get that one but my understanding they just want more winning in their state of people who from there! During a commission meeting on Friday, the Oregon Lottery Commission discussed rule proposals that would regulate courier services in the state by disallowing international ticket purchases and prevent bulk ticket purchases above a certain threshold.
