I disagree with lottery officials that the probability of winning twice is 1 in 24 trillion. The probability of winning twice depends on how many tickets you buy. If you buy lots of tickets every day, the chances of winning twice in 7 years, while still quite low, is not as absurdly low as they claim.

They should be investigated, sounds a lot like an Eddie Tipton scheme.

There's absolutely no way this could happen without cheating because I ran a 5/39 lotto simulator on my PC and it look 748 billion years to get a hitter. We simulated buying 10 draws per day.

This wouldn't be the first time this happened in the U.K. I seem to remember David and Kathleen Long winning a million quid twice. Once in 2013, and once in 2015.

A UK couple has beaten what lottery experts call insurmountable odds by winning a 1 million (US$1,342,420) prize in the National Lottery for the second time.
