I can't blame him for deleting it, I would have done the same thing. I still remember the very first spam email I ever received, informing me that I'd won the lottery. It might have been more convincing if I hadn't won two different multi-million dollar jackpots that morning.

Speaking of powerball .... I've still gotta see an $150 mil increase from the current 'pot until I jump in to play.

And also, on the topic of powerball ... Im now inclined to put down $5.for Mil4Life seeing MegaMillions is 250 mil below my jumping in point but, unlike lucky4life I'll just play once a week and not twice.

Yes, me too. I buy the $2 PB tickets, well sometimes I add a $1 for the power play.

It took multiple attempts for the Australian Lottery to get ahold of a $50 million (US$35.35 million) Powerball jackpot winner, who had previously deleted a very-real email alerting him to the win.

An Australian man was none the wiser that he had actually won a $50 million Powerball jackpot since he had deleted the initial email informing him that he should claim the prize.
