What irritates me about all of this is control, safety, and for the programs ... it's masquerading as greed. I hated that Tennessee banned sweepstakes casino's. I had quit playing the lottery completely because the SC casinos were so much better. I never had a payout issue and was making money playing. If they (government) can't figure out how to get their cut from the action they ban it.

Interesting that people are not picking up on the potential long-term effects if other lotteries look to do the same.

Lots of people here use offshore gambling services to bet on state-side games for better payouts. Those are the dots that I connect when I read this story. Curious to see if this ban attempt has legs.
