We are all individually made - different DNAs, Different strips on the palm. At the end of the day, man remains a permutation just like everything else in the Cosmos is. He has acted exactly as he had been set up to be. There are no perfect ways to organize his spending. There are no imperfect ways either. He can, and has only used what was pre-installed in him. In my opinion, he has made the best of his win, given the enormous consequences and/or turns that a big win like that can cause.

He was very unwise not the remain anonymous, which UK lottery winners have the right to do. Spending 3 million in the first four weeks, is never a good idea.

Money buys private jets and mansions, but it doesn't buy maturity. Peter Lavery started out spending like a lottery clich , but he grew older as an example of social responsibility. He transformed a stroke of luck into a tool for local transformation. In the end, his greatest luck wasn't hitting the winning numbers in 1996, but having the intelligence to pause, listen to his doctor, and decide that he wanted to be remembered for what he built, rather than the size of his bank account.
