This stupid scratcher scheme has been tried countless times over the years, and it always fails. Mr Densley should have given up after his claim was originally denied. Now, after more than four years in the court system, he's going to have to come up with over $150,000 to pay the CSLC. Also, he'll likely be prosecuted for presenting that fraudulent claim. How could he have thought that plan would turn out well

The California State Lottery Commission has been awarded judgment along with more than $150,000 in attorneys' fees and costs following the dismissal of a lawsuit brought by a man who claimed he was improperly denied a $750,000 payout on a winning high-stakes poker ticket, according to court documents obtained on Friday.
