Picking teams instead of numbers, not all that interesting to me a non football fan. When I saw the headline, I thought it would be like The Pools, a game that the U.K. and Australia had in which the winning numbers were based on the results if football games.

We'll just have to wait and see how this goes.

Seriously, this pick 8 out of 32 game doesn't look very promising. Matching 7 out of 8 numbers for a second prize of $20 grand is not very enticing. Do you know how hard it is to get 7 out of 8 numbers for a miserly 20 grand at a price tag of $5?. This game at best should be a $2 game. What is this obsession with $5 price tag anymore?.

Powerball meets the NFL: new football-themed prizes
