Oh the good old day of Mass. lottery before the demise of subscription ticket sales. You could call up there and play non-national tickets with ease. Then now with two headquarters I guess in Dorchester they moved the call center to GA. About the same time as that went away I couldn't have my Brother or friends buy a years long ticket anymore.

You would pay if I remember correctly $9 for UPS delivery of said ticket(s). Kind of miss those days

I may he mistaken but I think you got it wrong on the length of this megabucks run ..... I believe it hadn't been won since April of 2025 or about 16 months not nine months.

I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this

Every state does their own thing. It seems it's easier to win in Massachusetts than FL. In FL you have 53 balls and MA only 44. In FL it's twice a week but MA thrice a week.

Interesting spread, two 20s, two 30s and two 40s. Congrats to the lucky winner.

Well I played MegaBucks ..... Have been regularly ever since it reached upper single millions. Guess what folks? Big NEWS! I am not the winning ticket holder.

Anyhoo seeing that MegaBucks has been won and PowerBall and MegaMillions haven't reached 350 and 500 mil each ..... I'm going to play Millionaire 4 Life once a week (either Mon or Thur .. the original days for Lucky 4 Life drawings)

I'd be playing that game with a jackpot that size and those odds if I lived there...

Although, that took a very long time to reach that level.

I remember around 2000 when WA state Lotto had 2 drawings per week and the jackpot would raise $1 million per draw. I don't think jackpots really got higher than $10 million, but there was better buying power back then...
