I hit the NM p4 4444 this week. I went to collect the $5k and was told there was too many winners. I got $3600 instead with the $150 front,middle and back included. Another lottery player came into the office collect the $5k and was upset with the reduced payout. I told the lottery people thanks and I was happy and left.

$29..5 million? The slew of $50,000 Pick 5 winning tickets wouldn't put a dent in that. Seems (to me) it would be more aptly explained by winners cashing in tickets on the three Pick 3 triples that came in just prior to that Pick 5 drawing. Three triples in twenty-two draws sounds suspect to me. And it happened in the backyard of the Pick 5 mistake that happened earlier this year in DC.
