Have you ever thought that just maybe God was rewarding some of the lottery winners for good deeds they had already done? Even Jesus had to admit that the poor and needy will always be around. No amount of money will change that, so lottery winners shouldn't waste time worrying about it.RJOh

are u saying u help others without them asking? sometimes asking is deploriable to the needy.maybe to wake the rich help them they have to ask or solicit their needs because the rich have become blind. animity is great if placed in deep valleys, my opinion too many poor people in america. the rich get richer and ther poor get poorer.feed our americans without the red tape, just to get food ect.is a hassel in america. also I have seen/ noted/people asking the rich for minor help/and have been ign... luckycat,you are right. alot of people by nature are selfish. i don't believe that anybody who has been given the gift of wealth either via the lottery or other means are meant to keep it all to themselves. but the practice of giving should be done BEFORE a person becomes wealthy, not just after. you cited the bible and so will i. it says if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly . that verse underlines what a person finds at the end of selfishness........SELF. it's not about giv... It's too bad some of these big jacpot winners don't give some away.to people who have very little, I don't mean groups/ like bill gates does, there are a lot of people needing help,not much, maybe to pay a bill. or food. or shelter., and here in the USA. maybe they don't realize they can't take it with them, and never would live long enough to use all up. just wondering if people like her putting it in banks,could rott like the bible says.
