Mega Millions jackpot hits $50 million

There were no jackpot-winning tickets sold for the Tuesday Mega Millions lottery, increasing the jackpot for the multi-state game to $50 million. The next drawing will be Friday. Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday, 272,920 players won more than $2.2 million in prizes.There were five second-prize winners, each winning $175,000.
