Brad:FL has very little lottery competition (Georgia, since Alabama still doesn't have one) and, except for the Jacksonville area, FL residents usually have a long drive to buy out-of-state tickets.

I was just going to say something about that Jackpot that for one should have followed the lotteries rules and went back to the players but instead they gave the $30 million to education. I bet you can't even say that they gave it to education. That $30 million probably was just $30 million less the state had to set aside for education, which frankly I feel is wrong. What about the recent decision to not allow the $30 million plus in cash (from an unclaimed $50m jackpot) to be repaid to players

One drawback to sticking around for a while and paying attention is that you remember old promises made to the public.Why is that such a drawback? Because it upsets the stomach.
