Lottery fund attacked over grant to anti-deportation campaigners

MPs have launched a scathing attack on the UK national lottery distribution fund that supports charities and community groups after an inquiry into a grant made to an anti-deportation campaign.The 340,000 grant awarded to the National Coalition of Anti-Deportation Campaigns by the Community Fund in 2002 sparked a furious onslaught on the lottery cash distributor by the Daily Mail.
