I just love European lotteries like UK national lottery, French Lotto or the new one EuroMillions....they all are tax free, lump sum...no considering, ...just take your money and enjoy

ThinkBig:She should have taken the lump sum, and THEN shopped around for an annuity.BTW, some states with the 60-day rule use the drawing as when the 60 days begin.

Why would you say STUPID!? Is it because you still cannot understand why she had to wait 4 months to claim the jackpot or is it because she is accepting the yearly payment? If so, I wondered about that myself.

A Greenwood, Indiana woman has claimed a $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot from a drawing nearly four months ago, lottery officials said Tuesday.Jennifer Diles bought the winning ticket for the Nov. 22 drawing at a convenience store in Shelbyville.
