Connecticut Lottery Systems will be Shut Down Sunday

The Connecticut Lottery Corp. is shutting down its system statewide on Sunday to upgrade its software system.Lottery retailers will not be able to generate or cash lottery tickets on Sunday until around 7 p.m., when the conversion is expected to be complete.Lottery spokeswoman Diane Patterson said customers should try to purchase tickets on Saturday for Sunday's games.The installation will not affect Sunday's lottery game drawings for Play 3, Play 4 and Cash 5.
