Hmmm, and here I always thought it was those spiffy commercials. I go and buy regularly, like most people. But have to admit, that over the 30 years or so that Pa had their lottery, some of the commercials have been entertaining. They don't influence me, though.Maybe that would be a good subject for a poll, Todd.

ok. i work at a lottery retailer in Pgh., PA, and i work the lottery machine, and the lottery has us do a lot of stuff to get people to buy tickets. we are not allowed to refuse a sale to anyone 18 and up. i know a lady who bought $550 in instant tickets, and won back approx $200 some. i wanted to stop the lady, but my boss said i couldn't. i have also dealt with my fair share of compulsive gamblers, and i've been yelled at for trying to refuse a sale. the lottery does nothing to try to st... Is it just me, but in the past I've seen retailers sales list for other Pa. counties, and it always seems the highest sales are in the financially poor neighborhoods.Play responsibly and have fun, Chas
