Wednesday's drawing will be held in Ohio and go on as scheduled. must have been a typing error, I had to travel to Indiana to get my tickets.

It never ceases to amaze me that people think they should be able to control how other people spend their money. Of all the types of gambling, lotteries don't cause personal bankrupcy! The people of N.C. should send a big message to their representatives.

that's why voters choose not to re-elect them. dventually the elected officials will see things the population's way.

Polls show about two-thirds of North Carolina residents support a lottery. Gov. Mike Easley supports one as well, but the general assembly has voted it down several times since the mid-1980s.Another case of elected officals voting on how they feel. Not by what the majority desire.

Buyers Left Without TicketsSome North Carolina lottery players hoping to cash in on South Carolina's Powerball lottery walked away with nothing Wednesday after the state's lottery buying network went down. South Carolina's network crashed around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday due to a Bellsouth issue, according to the South Carolina Educational Lottery Office.
