Well, I wouldn't be surprised if the winner comes forward a few days later asking for their money. Now that Connecticut awarded an unclaimed prize to the winner, several winners will be asking for their prizes after the tickets expire.

I dont understand why some people play the lottery at all.Is it for the fun or what?As for me,i always sit before the television at the time of the draw to watch and moreover sign behind it and take it to the convinence store to ask for the previous result i have already watch the night before.So there is absolutely no way i can have the winning ticket and dont cash it in.Soo........ry winner loser.

Somebody out there just lost $2.5 million.That's how much an Illinois Lotto ticket sold in a Calumet City liquor store on May 3, 2003, was worth -- until 5 p.m. Monday. Now it's worth nothing because the one-year time limit to cash the ticket has passed.The ticket, with the numbers 03-23-28-29-38-42, was sold at Torrence Liquors, 616 Torrence Ave. in the south suburb.If you find it in your wallet or drawer, maybe the liquor store will buy you a drink.
