OH my God! It's a good thing I went ot Strawberry Square on Monday to get my weeks worth of tickets. this is news to me, since I went to the Town News on Tuesday to cash in my $1 Winner from Monday, which was invested in a Philly Daily News.For those of us who work in Downtown Harrisburg and frequent the machines at Lunch time. this is not true . But the clerks get really grumpy.

Pa Lottery terminals being down is nothing new. I live in the 717 area code and purchase tickets just about every day. On average I'm turned away once every month and sometimes more. For some strange reason its around the lunch time period. I alway kid the retail employees that they turn off the machines in Harrisburg so they can eat their lunch in peace.Just think of all the money thats being lost, with the down time. Even with the network failure Pennsylvania will still be number one in winning tickets.

Verizon, the telecommunications provider for the Pennsylvania Lottery, experienced a network failure in Central Pennsylvania around lunchtime Tuesday.The problem was resolved within approximately an hour and a half and all retail operations have been restored.The failure affected 274 Pennsylvania Lottery retailers in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Tamaqua, Nanticoke and State College areas.Some Lottery terminals in the (717), (570), and (814) area codes began experiencing technical problems ar...
