This cracks me up as far as I know Maryland lottery officials and the local news didn't even televise that they had a winner even though it had been some time since a Lotto jackpot was won. Lottery personnel didn't post the press release until June 1 probably because it was a holiday weekend. of course it could be that the ticket was purchased by a traveler or the person or people who won are contemplating different ways of remaining anonymous.

Maryland Lottery officials are waiting to award last month's $9.3 million Lotto jackpot to the winning ticket holder, who still has not come forward.Giant Eagle of Hagerstown, which sold the ticket for the May 29 drawing, will not have to wait for its commission for selling the ticket.
