Editor Notes: The AP story is incorrect. This was the third-highest single-ticket jackpot winner in North America. The second-largest was a single ticket sold in Indiana worth $297.5 million for the July 29, 1998 Powerball drawing.Did you transpose the numbers? Now you can see how silly it is for Massachusetts to still require winners of Mass Millions (to be retired in September) and Megabucks (soon to be changed) to receive annuity payments.
