Like the Doctor says, older people play more consistantly, just like the majority of lottery wins are quick picks, because they are played more often than hand picked numbers....

That is all PC and stuff but this just speaks then to the point that the more you play the better chance you have at winning. I am sure a guy like this and the Mass guy who gave away his ticket play hundreds a week. I am a 28 yr old male and have pounded certain games ($1000) a pop a few times. I only pound games like the LIttle Lotto in IL or Encore in Ontario, (odds of million to one or less) I would never pound Mega or Powerball, but I guess a guy like Jack Whittaker does and sooner or la... I don't have any problem with anyone of any age winning any sized jackpot. In fact, when someone elderly wins, I kinda feel they earned it by that point.

statistics show that most lottery players are over the age of 50. they also spend the most money. it makes sense that most winners are over the age of 50.

Does anyone under 30 ever win the lottery? All these stories are always about people older than 50 and half of them are over 70. Very frustrating.
