i like the fixed prize payout, but i don't like how all hits have to be straight, and how the payouts are not so great.

I'm guessing from the odds breakdown that it's a Pick 4 game, but the prizes are awarded differently. No offense Dr.Ew, but I wouldn't call it stupid . I like the fact that the prizes are fixed rather than pari-mutuel. In my home state of NJ, you can get a straight hit but get a terrible payout. The fixed prize avoids that, which I think is great.

I believe Oregon's Pick-4 (drawn 4x daily) also is played in an unorthodox manner.

The New Mexico Lottery Authority will launch a new drawing game on September 26. 4 This Way is designed as a game unique to New Mexico with a $4,000 nightly top prize.Players select four numbers that must be matched in order from first to last.
