This is what I love about lotteries. I mean over $600 million in Michigan alone went to support education in the state. Sure I like the prospect of winning millions some day but I am glad my money is going to a good cause. That dumb Idaho school can do whatever they want but most of our kids benefit from programs like this. Great job Michigan Lottery!Brad

Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and Michigan Bureau of State Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters today announced that the School Aid Fund will receive a record $644.5 million from the Michigan Lottery with its fiscal year 2004 net proceeds.Peters presented Granholm with a ceremonial check at a press conference in Lansing.
