Todd:Very good question. I wanted Super-6 to be replaced by Hot Lotto. Match-6 is somewhat of an improvement because of the 1-in-6 overall odds. As for the fact that you can choose only one set of six numbers, it was the most controversial part of Super-6, but is actually necessary in Match-6 to prdvent players from purposely duplicating numbers in all three lines to take advantage of the payoff structure for matching at least 4 of the 18 numbers.I wouldn't drive to PA just to play Match-6, but... Doing well is a relative term. I'll bet they would do better with a better, less confusing game. Maybe they're doing better because they are keeping more unclaimed prizes, because people have a hard time figuring out if they won. I am shocked that you are giving the game a pass, when they don't even let you choose your own picks for two out of the three lines! Charles Strutt wrote that Match 6 is doing well despite its unorthodox format. (MUSL is seriously considering its own version.) For all the criticism of Match 6, you get three lines for $2, plus you can win by matching just 4 of the 18 numbers...and the jackpot is LUMP SUM...
