On May 22, 1999, the Lottario lottery in Ontario drew the following numbers:1 2 3 4 5 33 Bonus 25As expeced, there were many lower tier prize winners and therefore low prizes. The average win for matching 5 numbers is $821. For this draw, a 5 number match paid only $43.Interestingly, there were 3 winning jackpot tickets and 3 tickets that matched 5 numbers plus the bonus number. Lottario is a 6/45 game. I suspect the same person won all 6 prizes by buying a total of 40 tickets.

Smaller the game the greater the chance (abet still small) the odd type draws that catch the eye will occur. The old Florida Fantasy 5/26 repeated jackpot combinations at later dates often enough that if you had played all the winning combinations as your tickets each draw over the years you would have made a profit.
