I don't say you're wrong, but I'm sure there are losing lottery players killed. Media just doesn't care cos they didnt win any substantial $$$.

i hate to bring this happy thought to you guys, but we're all gonna die sooner or later. it's a completely random occurrence. every person who has won the lottery is going to die sooner or later. it's just that the world works in mysterious ways.

The more money you have the more ways you can get yourself killed. Lucky for me I don't own any airplanes to crash or boats to sink, etc.With thousands of millionaires, thanks to the lottery, a percentage are going to go the way of that percentage of the general population, be it personal problems or getting hit by a bus. It seems to me that negative stories make the news because they are more interesting (to the general public) than the positive stories. You always hear of how a lottery winner lost it all after winning or how he died right after winning the big one. You dont hear much of how peoples lives have been positively impacted by winning the lottery.I guess the world we live in today is the world where people's misery is more interesting. While i agree with StGermain carelessnes does kill. The fact is death dosen't care if your a lottery winner or not people die every second of every day. Just a new baby's are born to take their place.

I think that most of these are about people being careless...me ..I would lock myself in the house for a short time till I get over it and gather my senses before going out to cash my ticket.

fate is a strange thing...these lottery winners getting their winnings and not being able to spend it due to fatal car wrecks and jack whitaker just keeps on getting arrested and getting in trouble over and over again.

james craig who won a hoosier lottery jackpot died in a rainstorm in april when he a utility pole and had just won the jackpot not too long before that...............

thats not all ...remember here a couple months back there was a guy who won a jackpot and he had been to jail a few times but was turning his life around and doing good and won the jackpot and he died in a car accident like two weeks later......

Ok, did you guys read the news section where the lady died after leaving the lottery headquaters?Well did you also hear about theElderly man who got hit by the car Because he was happy about winning so he returned to the store where he baught the ticket to thank the store clerk?http://edition.cnn.com/2004/US/Midwest/01/24/lottery.death.ap/I understand people die, But is it of bad luck?? Or a coincidence.
