What i would like to see is the tate of Illinois to offer both the megamillion and the Powerball as options. I would play them both if each was a choice. Currently, I can only play both if I'm passing thru a state that sells Powerball tickets.

I hope they do not merge. I like the idea of 2 different games, played on different nights being available. How about getting a thrid jackpot game together for those states not in the other two.

It would be a great idea if they re-aranged the prize structure. So more people would get more cash for having 5/4/3/2 numbers right. And keep the ball amount the same if they add more balls. I wouldn't like that.St.Germain writes how much does one need. I don't think it's about what one needs so much as how much one plans on spending after they won. If you have roughly twice the number of people buying tickets, there would be more jackpots won, hence lower jackpots. The matrix would have to changed to get the same level of high jackpots. I would hope this wouldn't happen. They are fine as they are.

i was wondering what it would be like if mega millions and powerball merged together for one big multistate game...how would this change things..
