Most players do choose cash. The only times most players choose annuity is when the choice time is up, or they don't have an option. I prefer cash, but I'd still be happy with an annuity.

i doubt it. if a state has had powerball for as long as it has, i doubt they will switch over now.

i think GA is happy with the decision. mega millions jackpots grow faster than powerball, and it has fewer states.

i think players in GA would rather take mega millions snce it offers better payouts for better odds.

Even though I live in a Mega Millions state (NY) I prefer Powerball, since NY (and TX) require the cash/annuity choice to be made when you play. And of course only TX has the Megaplier.

Doubtful since the Mega Millions drawings are done here in GA, however wish we would change back. I liked Powerball much better, but feel that both Powerball and Mega Million have increased their playing field to such a high level that both games are no longer fun to play.

The Georgia Lottery sold Powerball tickets in 1995-1996. GA decided to switch to the Big Game (now Mega Millions) when it was planned. GA very briefly sold both simultaneously before getting kicked out of MUSL.
