tntea I can sympathyise with you, because being a teacher myself there are times when parents expect you to work a miricale on their children. That poem is so consoling and it helps one to find themself and get in tune with the master teacher, Jesus Christ. Just remember that you can only do your best with the students that are entrusted to your care. And if you have done your best than you have nothing to worry about and your blessing will flow from above. Hang in there and continue to do what

Thanks for replying..I wasn't sure anyone would read the poem through.. let along get to my reply to it.I do read this often..I have a copy on my desk at school.When I get down because I seem to fail with my students, I pick it up and read it.I have to be reminded I cannot make a retarded child not retarded anymore.. but to accept them the way they are and do the best I can with them.

Tntea, thanks for sharing ,I too find myself addicted to this game, and am having my own inner struggle with trying to stop. The poem was very needed in my life right now, as it seems in this past week everything has gone wrong.May God give all of us the strength during this blessed season,to make the changes in our lives we need to make and to continue to learn to enjoy living, and this is not easy to do when you live in a dream world as I sometimes do, May we all find peace in our reality.
