Texasman, with a pick of 49 numbers and playing 25 cent box at :With 49 numbers you should hit a box around 1 out of every 4 or 5 times.49 tickets x $0.25 = $12.25 as you correctly point out. But the win payout for a box would be $37.50 for a non-double and $75.00 for a double. I don't post doubles unless I think they are due , so I usually don't post 49 numbers! Anyway 5 plays would be $12.25 x 5 = $61.25. You would have to hit the double to make any money, if you played that many numbers... [ More ]

CalifDude,If you played all of the 49 numbers you have listed above and one of them hits, how much net profit will you have? I certainly think you should have a winner in that group. Would this be a minimum of $12.25 boxed bet at ? And you would win, what, $34? Is that right? ..for a profit of $21.75. If that's the case, not bad, because I think we can figure a winner in 49 numbers. ... Low-profit win each time, but a high volume of winners. That looks like your strategy.
