I doubt that if NV were to sell lottery tickets, they would allow 18-year-olds to play.

A good amount of states, like NJ and IN, have the casino age at 21 and the lottery age at 18. I'm sure if Nevada got a lottery, it would be the same way.

I live in LA and I managed to buy lottery tickets at 20 just a few times. I remember that $319 PB prize 2 years ago. That was just days before I turned 21 but I had to get into that drawing and I did. I always thought that all states with casinos had a lottery ticket age of 21 so they could have one age for gambling in that state. I guess not.

I can't say they will, but I wish they would. 21 to buy a freaking lottery ticket is a testament to the way treat teens and young adults in the country, we treat them like sh*t. This new law is why I moved to PA instead of AZ.

i think they made that decision for a good reason. if they were trying to control compulsive gambling at younger ages, then they made the right decision.

In 2003, Arizona became the third US lottery to require players to be 21 years old (Iowa and Louisiana are the others; 19 in Nebraska).
