i'm totally mortified. i have the lottery on my mind so much - asked the wrong question.problem is when try to run floppy - message is registry editor disabled.

Lottery Director is a DOS program, but since I use Windows 98 Second Edition, it's easy for me to install and use DOS programs.I have read that DOS also installs and runs on other windows operating systems, but might be harder to do so on those others, I don't know.You might need to learn how to install and then run DOS programs on your operating system.But the first thing I think would be to forget about the floppy disk and download the program to your desktop or download folder and then to t... Lottery Director, as far as I know, does not EVER expire, at least not the current version.Maybe older versions did ?Why do you run it from a floppy ?Download the latest version from it's site to the desktop or a download folder of your choice and then click on it to install it.If you have trouble go to the Lottery Director's site and e-mail those people about your problems, but it would be best to go to their lottery forum that they have there and leave a post there about your Lottery Directo... Emily,If that doesn't work, maybe the Lottery Director program has become corrupted on the disk. That cab happen more often than supposed if one is using floppies.You can go to the LD website and download the demo again. They still offer it, fully functional except for saving past draws. But you can download the latest draw files at the site also. I don't know what system you have that you're using, but it is probably better to download it and keep it on your hard drive...and just put it on a fl... [ More ]

Perhaps Lottery Director is supposed to stop working after a certain date.Try to set the date on your computer to a date when Lottery Director worked and see if that helps.
