Picking the Mega Ball...Much harder to systemize because it's one ball at a time.I use an algo for the bonus ball a little similar to that for the lower 5, but when there are large jackpots and I want to play some silly methods just to have a few more shots, I will put in my bowling scores the first 5 frames and the mega would be the lane I bowled on, or even the temperatures on the weather map... I think on Jan. 18th the temps in the midwest had 23, 28, and 51 in Florida.. hmmmm....

I just drew up a chart tonight for tracking the MegaBall (only). It's pretty much like Gail Howard's Sum chart. I can clearly see where any bias occurs. At least I have something to work with now

Personally, I use the whole shebang, I put it in a flowchart (hits and frequency) and it really gives you a good indication. I 've had luck/good fortune with it before. Go figure !! Also, I know a guy who used to flip a deck of cards in the air and whatever landed face up ..he would play. Took him several years and a lot of cards ....but..he won 75,000 dollars .

Thanx for all the replies everybody. I see recently, all the number decades except 40 has been hit, so I picked 42 for tonights draw.

Tonight, I will be picking mega balls randomly that have not appeared with any numbers in the combinations more than once because it is simple and quick. Since I plan to play 25 lines, there will be a 48% chance that one the balls will hit. If I was only playing 10 lines, I might do something different.

sometimes I pick the megaball by checking to see how many times it has come out with the first number of my regular picks....for instance if my first number is 12 on my regular picks I can see that MB 49 has come out 3 times out of 12 possible times....I know its a stretch but the only other way I would pick the MB would be just pure luck ....This way if i feel a certain MB is going to come up I dont have to do a work up on what the other numbers might be.....Like I said its a stretch but it ke... i look at the past 25-50 draws and see which number has been drawn as the mega ball number. then, i loook at a log i've kept, which tells me how often i have correctly picked the mega ball number. from there, i choose my pick. i also let the computer pick a few sets.
