Well 3k and month and 1k a week is about the same. Either prize isn't going to let you retire unless you live in an area with very low home prices and have your heath insurance paid by someone else.

It's not the annuity it's the amount. I can't quit work for 52k a year. After tax, a mortgage, health insurance and other bills there wouldn't be anything left for savings or for kids, etc. At 1000 a day though then I could get a house in a nice school district and have savings.

well i hope they keep quinto esp. since its cash at once. The 1000$ a week game just doesn't appeal to me. Now if it's 1000 a day then that might get my intrest - otherwise no thanks.
