There's enough lotteries inside and outside the USA that have beeen rigged. That's a fact.People aren't necessarily afraid of doing time from lottery rigging cos it's a white collar crime (and it's most likely only their first offense). No one's gonna see 20 years or death row.

It's one thing to say they just aren't good at their job. It's quite another to be actually corrupt though. Sure I could say that we have many elections officials in King County that are corrupt (Seattle). But they aren't stealing money just elections. The only real corruption a lottery official could have is to get kickbacks for contracts such as with Gametech or rigging a game. my plays in maryland 1313, 3667, 1463, 6301, 5406, 4086, 9860, 1948, 1947, 2791the winning number was 1988 ball drawing i do this allmost every day also. If you bought 500 dollars of 24 way combos or boxes you would definantly win. Playing the numbers correctly 500 dollars in combos is 12,000 numbers making it impossible to lose. However you would only win 100 or 200 dollars on a 500 dollar bet. RNG's are not random! We have proof of that here in Indiana. Lets put it this way, I won 200 last March and have not won since. even if they go back to ball machines for their drawings, they can still be manipulated, and the lottery will still know which plays that the players played, and can still rig the drawings. an easier way for them to rig the drawings is to just to pre-rig them, and go into the central computer and make it so the terminals cannot generate the winning set of numbers.

Maryland's has 248 numbers for it's evening pick 3 game that haven't' been picked straight in 5 years also. Over close too 4000 numbers that haven't been drawn straight in pick 4 games day and night. also, the fact that a security employee knew where a top prize winnng instant ticket was, and told his friend, who wound up buying the winning ticket, where it was at is evidence enough that the hosier lottery needs some major reforms. they need to start using ball machines again. they need better secutiry on their games. they need to base the hoosier lotto jackpots on a combination of a minimum rollover and sales. also, the fact that they sold an unclaimed jackpot winning powerball ticket back

I would like to know if the Hoosier Lottery is run by the state, i thought in a previous thread i read someone stated it is independently run. IF that is so, most people probably dont know, and the lottery is likely held to a lower standard. ANYONE looking at the statistics for indiana should realize something isnt right. If i lived there i'd be helping Losing Jeff and Jim695 out. They need to be made an example out of.

Even if Indiana is making money on scratch offs doesnt change the fact that their daily game payouts are miniscule compared to other States of similar population. It just doesnt compute! And when I look at my losing tickets it confirms the fact that winning is an unlikely result here.

Losingjeff this is from Marylands website we have less people living in Maryland than your state. the sentence below is from the fiscal year report for 2004.Scratch-offs and Keno are our two biggest growth games. Currently, Scratch-off sales are averaging a record-breaking $7 million each week,Maryland dosen't report the number of winners for pick 3/4 games so i can't compair the two states however i can say that of the 50 or so people i know that play the pick 3/4 games were not making a killin... Great subject Mike! I believe that the Lottery once again boasted of record sales this year. It amazes me that a Lottery could have record sales, yet the worse payouts on their daily games.
