Hi JoyJoy! I'm just reading the post. Sorry to hear ur baby passed on. Lucky was LUCKY to have u. I lost 3 dogs last yr. I miss all of them. They were the last of a liter of 9 that I found. It's painful. Now I just have my Bookie D and he's never too far from me. Hope u'll think about looking for another pet to love. They're more faithful then people sometimes. Be well. Shakey

JoyJoy,I too have a dog and have had others.The mother of the dog we have now, had been hit by a car or truck, don't know doesn't matter.She was not what you would call an out side dog and happen to take off one day. The loss was hard on all of us, and every so often my granddaughter will say out of the clear blue.. how much she misses Sable.Like all the others have said, this forum is the place to say something and that it is like family here. Thank you all Forum for your very kind words of encouragement I really appreciate it and reading about how much each of you love your pets.The number that I played and won$290.00 was 640 it cost $310.00 to save my $2.00 puppies life that day he weighted 4 pounds, He was a strange mix of Lab and pit bull. Joy, last year I lost my best friend, a mixed bred that came from the pound when she was a few weeks old. There was always this magic between us. She had just turned 15 when she passed. I have a 14 year old chihuahua with a leaking heart . She is my baby girl. I can tell that its getting closer to the end. I always try to make her as happy and comfortable as I can. Joy....I am sorry for your loss...sometimes pets give us more love than human beings....I had a very dear cat for 7 years, his name was Tolstoi and he was a Russian blue...we found out he had liver disease and had to put him to sleep...the night before we had to go to the vet clinic to say our final goodbye...It was the most heartwrenching moment but he knew how much we loved him...Today he is with us in spirit and we talk and think about him all the time....but another adorable kitty came into

Joy,I'm sorry to hear about the loss of you lovable dog, Lucky. Do you remember the number you won on the day you found him? Perhaps it is meant to be drawn tonight again to help you through your loss. I've lost pets along the way, too, and it is a helpless and sad feeling that can only leave you with many fond memories of that special family member.

Joy Joy, I lost my 13yr old Chihuahua named Candy in 1999, two weeks after the Flood of the Century. She died of old age, and I still miss her. My heart goes out to you. A dog becomes a member of your family and it hurts when they're called home. This Spring, I've made up my mind to get me another dog. It will ease the emptiness in my heart. I hope when your tears dry, you will consider doing the same. May Lucky rest in peace.

I am feeling the pain u r in. we have 3 dogs and I love them all dearly. My own private dog is about 10 years old..and I think I would freak out if she died..she has been my protectoress...my house used to get broken in all of the time but when I got her..no more break-ins..

for a pet lover, the loss of a pet can be as devastating as the loss of human life. as a pet owner and lover i share in your grief. be comforted in knowing your love for this pet is probably what kept him alive as long as it could. i'm sorry to hear this.

sorry to hear about lucky he sounds like he was a great dog and a very special friend , dogs are man's best friend i love my dogs . every year we make a trip to the local humane society at christmas to donate food, toys and money for the animals at the humane society and it gives me such pleasure to do this because there special friends. i just signed my other k 9 up to go become a therapy dog for senior citzens, people in grief and for childrenin need (they will train them to be sensitive to... This morning at 6:45 am I found that my dearly loved pet dog Lucky had died . I have cried all day. I found Lucky almost two years ago outside the corner store. Some guy sold him to me for $2.00. I was going in the store to play my pick 3. I bought the dog and brought him home, I could see the puppy was ill. I won pick 3 that day and I took the puppy to pet smart to the vet.
