RickGI never got any reply for the IL. Lottery....ever !As far as finding out how many winners there were in the pk4 3.....................They don't want you to know. Emailed the TN lottery to ask about ballsets used for both Cash 3 Cash 4, if they are the same and when are thy changed ..... no reply, no surprise. Emailed TX to see if they planned to switch to computerized drawings and received a reply just now that the only computerized draw they use is for the Megaplier number and they have no current plans to switch to computerized drawings for all their games. I got one. They said they don't have plans in joining lotto south, however, they did send the comment about an instate lotto game to the administration. Who knows? I think this summer the TN lottery is going to be on vacation. I don't expect anything new until the end of the year. (By that time I would have moved to a nonlottery state).

Your correct Rick customer service is very important. And you should have got the generic reply that most people get from places like that. I have gotten so many generic replies from the lottery and news broadcast persons. That in my first sentence i have to write please respond with a suitable answer and not the generic reply. Illinois always responds to me but it is always rushed and bothered like you mention. I asked them where they were still selling a scratch off in my area and they told me two places that didnt have them the next day. You can tell that brain surgeons arent manning the email replies. I was ready to buy a bunch of the 10 buck Merry Millionaire tickets but decided not to now, oh well.

The drawing was interrupted suddenly and I would imagine they got a lot of e-mails about it.A simple courteous form letter Dear Customer...........Sincerely, response to all those e-mails would have worked. The e-mail I received was defensive and unprofessional. If it was my dept., that employee would be pounding the pavement next week. Rick they probably receive a thousand negatory phone calls and emails from rude customers every day. It's more like a circus act to them people hounding them and getting nervy because of this and that. They probably also feel like caged animals unable to really respond in the same rude manner as they are aproached countless times by irate customers every day year in and year out, No wonder the underlings are in and out the door. they also might have a high turnover of the lower classisafication... Yesterday, IL 4/14 midday Pick 4 draw was interrupted with an unknown technical difficulty .I e-mailed them asking for an explanation and below is their response in total: It was live, there was a technical difficulty, just like it showed andsaid on the screen. They did respond within 24 hours but the response was not satisfactory and in fact, somewhat rude. I've Emailed the Louisiana Lottery once and did get a response that was the answer to my question. However, I don't think the Louisiana Lottery encourages Emails. There are no Email addresses on the website anywhere, nor are there any in their printed literature. What I had to do was send an Email to the postmaster account, which then forwarded it on to someone who could help me, who did respond in a timely manner.I did once send them a snail mail about how the Powerball Instant Millionaire game... i don't get how a state could have two pick 3 drawings a day,and even a pick 5,but no pick 4,i'd rather have a pick 3 once a day and pick 4 once a day,not pick 3 twice a day and no pick 4,the state lotteries make no sense sometimes

LazyJim, that sounds unusual. The IL website tells you how many winning tickets were sold for its lotto and pick 5, where they were sold, how much they were worth and whether they were Quick Picks or not.However they don't give out any payout info on their pick 3 and 4 like some other states do. Since we're still a ping pong ball state that does not bother me very much.It sounds like the states all distribute their info differently on their web sites.

I have emailed the Arizona lottery a few times and gotten replies within 24 hours.Recently I've had a problem with a specific question though.I asked them where I could find out how many winners there were for Fantasy Five and generally for all Arizona games and their reply told me where to find the winning numbers.I responded that I knew where to get the winning numbers but that I wanted to know where to find out how many people had the winning numbers. I live in Tennessee and emailed about the website. They did not have a page to show remaining prizes still available on scratch off tickets. They responded very quickly and within two months they added this feature to the web page, I was very pleased.Miss Bee

Army then i would suggest calling them and asking why your emails to them have gone un answered. There might be a problem with their email server or the person who fields the emails might not be on the job any more. Or the email address box is full in which case it would be lost in cyberspace. In any dvent call them and ask what's up with that.

Very true Rick but my guess is they don't have quailed people who run the web site. And from checking the employment listings for certain jobs you only need minimum computer skills to work for them. Unless of course you are applying for a high paying job. My guess is some of the employees there are at or just above minimum wage. So the requirements to be employed are must have GED or equivalent. Maryland gave me a responce within 24 hrs of sending. on more than one occasion. In order to get a response from them you must read the emailing rules.one of the rules = ( please put your email address in the body of the email.

PA has usually been really good about responding to my e-mails, except for when I e-mailed them, giving them my idea to use ball machines for the mid-day daily number and big 4 drawings, but make the video available online instead of televising them to save money. it's about as cost-effective, yet players know the drawings are legitimate, so they will pump more money into them, proving to be more profitable for the lottery.

Thanks for the response, Mike. It could be because TN is a new lottery. IL goes back to '72 and maybe is getting lax in its service. However they are still using ping pong balls and running a fair lottery so I'm not complaining directly about them. In fact I love the IL lottery whether they answer my e-mails or not.
