In my state it is a hassle to play the lottery,75% of the time the clerks were not properly trained and make many mistakes.If there is a line of people playing, everyone was inconveinced! And another thing I like about 5D is that no one else is seeing my wagers, no clerks who would rather be somewhere else, or someone standing behind me in line.It's just my business

TN started its lottery in 2003....IL started its lottery in 1972. A whole lot of money has gone into our state's education budget.30 years from now we can compare notes.

The freedom of choice is a beautiful thing!!!!We ALL are given the choice to decide where we want our funds to go...if one chooses to use other outlets available to play, why should it matter to others. And I will continue this subject. The state lotteries were designed to benefit the states that sponsored them. does not sponsor YOUR state, YOUR child's education or anything else in YOUR state for that matter. I'll take the lower payouts knowing that MY money is going to the benefit of MY state.

Obviously I didn't make myself clear. In IL 50% of all losses go into the education budget for IL students and the other 50% goes into administration of the lottery program in the state, not budget for profit.

I just noticed CA Midday tomorrow's tickets that I bought around 3:40ish CT today are not listed, but those bought during the previous hours for other states are there.

Hi Tntea and Argosblue - I just processed my tickets with no trouble. Maybe a glitch in their system, but I would be willing to bet that you are NOT being scammed as they would have more to lose doing that, than you local State Lottery.Happy Winnings to you

Play in your state...the profits go to your state and are audited and accountable. How is helping you, your children or your state? And what happens when they decide to fold? How will you get your money back?Sounds to me like the scam just happened and if it hasn't, it will.
