Though the risk of PB and MM losing their mystique exists if overexposed through 5 day play, I would say let the market decide. If it didn't work out, it wouldn't be the first time a game has had to be changed.

i think its a bad idea and also leaves it in danger of being overexposed,the two days a week leave enough time for a person to have a hunger for the next drawing and keeps it fresh.....

I don't think it would be a good idea for several reasons. I think play would decrease, jackpot only players (people who don't play pick 3 or pick 4 or scratchers all the time) would not buy tickets every day. Pool players would have a hard time - it would not leave much time between drawings to collect for the next drawing - I have hard enough time with that as it is (Friday night drawing till Tuesday drawing only leaves Monday for collecting at work). it is a bad idea...i dont think the jackpots would get as high...i know you could say that more drawings mean more tickets being bought...but, for most people it wont be easy to get to a lottery retailer 5 times a week, even if they wanted to play that much. I also think having a drawing 5 days a week will take away from the apprehension and novelty of it all.

I don't care to play 5 nights a week. We have a little lotto in Illinois that's played 7 nights a week and the pots are always in the $100,000 to $500.00 range. I've played Little Lotto once in 3 or 4 years.I would think playing PB MM 5 nights a week as opposed to 2 nights a week would create smaller jackpots because there would be a 120% chance increase of someone winning the jackpot.

although it would be nice to see 5 draws a week for powerball and mega millions, and you would see huge jackpots week after week, it also means more money spent per year on the games, more operating costs, and the jackpot would get hit too often.
