Sounds good. At the same time, some members would have to deal with anti-LP members that try to pass on false claims. Along with the great chats, we would have to defend in real-time too. That is very similar to AOL. I purposely no longer have AOL membership.

I think the chat room idea would be great. I had posted a question before if there was a chatroom somewhere online because I have questions on some different lottery picking schemes. It's hard to figure out how to use them by sending private messages back and forth, actually confusing when you have no idea of what the other person is trying to tell you. Plus other things like in the the posts where I've seen people take things the wrong way.

I didn't vote because, as Todd already mentioned, it is feasible.When Todd first got up and running, I used to host a chat room when I had the time. I posted on Maybell's and Lotterypost when it was opened and when it would close, along with the link.We had some great times kicking around ideas in real-time. It really helps everyone involved. I'm sure that useful ideas generated in the chatroom will make it to the posting boards.

I think the chat would be popular especially while people are waiting for drawing results. A java chat client would probably work the best.

Messengers have the ability to plug in a microphone, talk and also have an open webcam so those who want a chat line might consider that possibility.

I'm just saying that a guest speaker would be fine, but I don't understand how having a guest speaker on a free-for-all chat room with no stored history would be better than the forums.I am a member of other forums that have guest speakers, and they're never in a chat room (for those reasons).

WIN D,Those things all happen on the forums, so I don't understand the difference, other than the fact that all the chat history gets lost. Forums history lives on and is searchable.

There would be less misunderstandings... and when their were.....they would be more easily worked through. Subtle Tone ,...intonation , undulation ...that's the ticket. Nice to have.....at least as an option . Meet me in the chat room ...and i will go into this further...LOL It would be great to invite guest speakers to the forum ...like the head of the statistics dept. at Ga. Tech ....yeah! It is feasible, and I've thought about it. There are several reasons why I have not done it, and I've posted some threads on it a few times. We've had polls also. It may happen someday, I'm not sure.
