I been to Detroit and it look bad. I want to try and get it to look better some how. There other areas beside Detroit that are bad. Warren look bad. I think someone who buy alot of land. Then build a new sub with bigger houses. The house they build in Detroit are small and look ugly. To make Detroit look better. Get bigger house build. Like 3,000 sq ft and get house that it all brink. I spell it wrong. Then get new building and stuff. Then Detroit will look better.

Good morning everyone.Sandy, it sounds like you all need, maybe a clean slate when it comes to electing new Politicians because corruption runs rampant among established groups. We have a Govenor here who is hell bent on bringing Casinos here. Don't get me wrong. I like Casinos, but like anything else, you have to weigh the pros and cons. Jorli, I so agree with you. To rebuild a city for a Super Bowl is senseless. Detroit getting money to make the city look nice for SuperBowl is disgusting to me. When I heard this, it reminded me of Athens getting money to improve the cosmetic looks of it's city for the Olympics. Detroit is going through a horrible financial fallout with enough blame to go around for years. Lots of luck to you and your father, Keepitreal. Talk to your Politcal Science teacher about ways to get involved with any movements that may be happening in your city to improve it. You may not have to put out a cent to get things started. Businesses may pitch in when they see the enthusiasm building from the citizen in the area toward making improvements in every aspect. litebets27

It's really sad about the older cities deteriorating. At the same time, there are many cities like Charlotte, Atlanta, etc., that are growing very nicely.
