I'm sure it takes a while to change any game the size of powerball. I would hope that they could start the process by having a teleconference with the various states to set up a new matrix and gameslips.

I doubt it. Even though their average jackpots are below some of the biggest state lotteries I doubt they will change. Would be nice to think that they would see falling sales matching those small jackpots and make some changes though.

Although Powerball is overdue for a matrix change ever since TN, ND, VT, and ME joined, I think it has not been enough time since the last matrix change (6. Oct. 2002). Maybe after OK, and a few more states hopefully FL) join, they will change the matrix.

I think powerball will change when the next state joins in response to keeping up with mega milliions.
