8 pm is a good rule of thumb for the nite pretests; the window is much smaller for the day draw--1130-1200 for a 12:27 pm draw

Excellent way to do it, Justin. It leaves little else to consider seriously and you just go with it 'cause it's consistent and highly likely! How soon are the pretest results for evening available in order to give one the time to figure and buy the tickets? I should know this, but I don't.
