By reading through all the posters in this link, I got the impression that IonSaliu is right, and Bertil should bother him no further.If Bertil's stated interest is true, he would be interested in all combinations, not radom subsets. A loop program to cover all possibilities might take forever to run, but program by itself should be quite simple.I am wondering what is behind all that.

This is sadly amazing...I initially provided insight as to how to access an ActiveX code on somebody's web site and now I am being told about how to figure standard deviations and I didn't even ask...sheesh...punish me some more for trying to be helpful. I guess my little elevator just doesn't go all the way up cause I fail to understand what all the ruckuss is over the concept of standard deviation. Windows has a command prompt C:\ which allows you to run DOS programs in a MSDOS window.RJOh

Many of his programs has probably been made for MSDOS 6.0.Perhaps you need to have MSDOS 6.0 installed in addtion to Windows to be able to use them.

I searched over the Saliu's site last nite. Truthfully, am not sure what exactly you are looking for. Most of the software listed there is downloadable (some doesn't run on my computers). The items that do run, well, I just haven't invested the time yet to understand the power or potential each may have. The Saliu Generator is said to generate 1000 combinations. But I'm unable to log onto it and my son ,who has 20 years of computer know how, can't find out how to log on. So I now turn to LP experts to ask if the generator will handle any and all lotto type games, such as 5/10, 5/15, 5/20. If so, please help me to log onto it. Bertil
