Great, It helps when things are explained clearly and simply. Actually, my example produced six different numbers. I thought it would only do five. It looks like the first three levels give you all the digits that are going to appear, period, regardless of exact orders. Position 1 has 5 and 9 alternating, Pos. 2 has 1 and 3 alternating and Pos.3 has 4 and 8 alternating.

Is there a way to decide what combination of ++-'s to use, or do you try all 7 combinations (8 minus the one you used last time)?I see how to get 7 or 8 numbers from this, but not 5 or 10. Can someone help

To MollyG and Sandy K,Thank you for that very clear explanation. The 15-watt lightbulb in my head became 100 watts. What I see also is that this system produces five good numbers one could mix for 10 different combinations, excluding doubles. But since it produces doubles and a winner, you want that, too

texasman.................you didn't follow instructions.........you need to++- for the first row............6-7=9 ............when doing what I call lottery math......when a lower number is on top of a higher number..............just add a 1 to the lower number to become a teen number...........6-7=9 is really 16-7=9You see where you went wrong in the first row..........you +++ , the instructions say to ++- (the minus is 6-7=9)Do each line like Molly says and you can't go wrong..........and g...
