Quote: Originally posted by lazyjim on February 24, 2005 Illinois had machines like that for years when I lived there. Mostly in supermarkets. You could pick your own, do quick pick or run your play slip in it. They also printed out vouchers for winning tickets that could be cashed in at the service desk. Some places got rid of them because of complaints that minors were using them though. I don't know if they still have them.Just put them in a place where they can be watched at all times.

Maryland has some vending machines for scratchers, but nothing for the online games. I would welcome ATM-like machines, especially if they had a payslip reader - It would be nice not to have to wait in line behind the people that play a gazillion pick 3/4 selections in all kinds of combinations.

A couple of grocery stores around where I live had lottery ticket dispensing machines and I think I did see a couple of lottery ticket kiosks a few years back, but the concept pretty much flopped here in GA. Problem was a combination of vandlism and just plain machine problems. Those machines were removed and have not seen them since. But hopefully, by this summer, GA might be on the Net. Keeping fingers crossed.Sir Metro
