I agree with tntea. The 888 is just another double! If you are going to play a double, why not play all 10 of the possible third digits??I posted some charts for trips in Texas here:https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/108972.htm

I Had the 884 and 883. Didn't caught the triple. Knew was a double 8 0r 3.

WTG CalifDude!!So much to chose from, sooo little money! I'm finding that when you play, you should pick a state or two and only play those states. Otherwise, you lose too much money trying to play all of them and not hitting any of them, or only catching a box which is not enough to cover your losses

See you are up early too, Molly. Statistically, triples only hit 1% of the time in Pick 3 draws. So actualy, Texas is right on target at 1.1 %. Don't know about other states, but there have been some years with quite a few and other years with a lot less than normal. Predicting them is never easy for me though, and I rarely play them when they hit, even if I have been playing them some.

Never can count on triples in Texas...they are a fluke from TLC...I would like to know Tx percentages of triples vs. other states. It seems others have trips a lot more often than Tx.Thanks,P.S.
