I'm always open to new ideas and approaches to the PowerBall game, but I can't see how the 5/53 white ball numbers which run higher than the 1/42 red PowerBall numbers have any less chance of hitting. Is there something I'm missing about what you're saying?Evidently there is. On the first 5 numbers 1-53 stand a shot of hitting. On the RB only the numbers 1-42 can hit. Poor old 46 hasn't hit too well on Power Ball, either. In two + years it's only hit 21 times. Better than, say, 3, which has only hit 16 times, but considering several, such as 17 have hit in the neighborhood of 40 times and keep hitting, 46 is having some dry years. Tonight's winning numbers were 18 19 31 35 36 +17, 46 is still overdue. Numbers become overdue because they aren't hitting and they are a bad bet. In the last 100 drawings 75% of the winning numbers have hit in the last 14 drawings and 75 of those winning combinations had numbers, all of which had hit in the previous 29 drawings. Tonight, 36 hadn't hit in 32 drawings.RJOh

It has only been 55 draws since 46 hit. 43 went 69 draws before it hit 10/22/04 and 40 went 81 draws before it hit 12/14/04, so 55 draws without a hit is not unheard of.RJOh
