The Powerball jackpot is $19 million again. This means there will be another winner Saturday. I'm going to get myself a ticket because of that, even though IL Lotto and Mega Millions both have larger jackpots (I'm playing IL Lotto as well).

I read that in the history section of powerball's website they made a matrix change in 97' when they had a bunch of winners in a row like this year. So their has to be a change coming this year to bring back the big jackpots.

with all the states joining the game, sales may be more than $12 million. i doubt it would be $120 million, but it is probably more than $12 million.

Actually, according to megaplier.org , the Powerball sales are slightly increasing at the starting jackpot level. However, it shouldn't be enough to start triggering all these winners.

I would say your odds of hitting the jackpot are way better at 10 million then 200+ million since it's not going to hit that mark anyways. Current run might make it to 55 before getting hit.

just seems like Powerball should have a nice $100+ million run soon ...maybe not this jackpot cycle, maybe not the next ...but hopefully soonwe had 19 draws at $100 million or more in year 2003 with three of them at $200 million or greaterin year 2004 there were 14 draws over $100 million with two over $200 million
